Sangria

Sangria
Giorgio Celmo
Ingredients
1. A bottle of Red Wine
Spanish Wine is the most authentic. It can be a Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, or one of the other wines for sangria.
2. Thinly sliced or chopped fruit
Orange, lemon, apple, peach, grapes, or other fruit for sangria. Be sure to cut the fruit so that the juice will mix with the wine.
3. Something sweet such as sugar, honey, or orange juice.
1.5 tablespoons of sugar works nicely.
4. A shot of brandy, triple sec, or other spirits for sangria
5. Sparkling soda (carbonated water) - club soda or ginger ale.
Refrigerate until chilled, serve with a slice of fruit in the glass
